Plots for sale
Salla has plenty of plots for sale, both for primary residences as well as for vacation homes and businesses. They are affordable when compared to the national price level.
It is possible to begin construction immediately, since municipal infrastructure, such as water, sewage, and road access, are already available on almost every plot. The plots are located amongst beautiful scenery and are otherwise located on good construction sites.
Most of the plots are located in the area of the Sallatunturi fell, where there are great facilities for outdoor activities and sports. The Early-Childhood Education Centre, school and health services are within a 5-minute drive.
Plots are also located in the village of Salla and on the shores of Pyhäjärvi lake, between Sallatunturi and the village.
It is also possible to build a primary residence on most of the plots for vacation homes at Sallatunturi.

Municipal plots at Sallatunturi
The price of the plots sold at Sallatunturi consists of a base price of €3000 plus €50 per permitted building square metre. For block 150, the base price is €3900 plus €65 per permitted building square metre.
In addition, the buyer pays for the parcelling of the plot, as well as the water and sewage connection fee. The buyer is obliged to construct at least half of the permitted building volume within three years.
The transfer tax and conveyancer’s fee are the responsibility of the buyer and he/she commits to pay into the annual fund for maintaining the local ski trails. The plot can only be used for the purpose stated in the building plan.
The parcelling fees for most of the plots in the municipality are €504/plot, because the municipality has already completed the parcelling in advance. On other plots, the parcelling is carried out by the National Land Survey of Finland.
