The ice hall is located in the vicinity of the Salla School Centre. The hall is used by people skating in their free time, schoolchildren, sports clubs, and tourists. Ice time is readily available, and it is more affordable than in large localities. Times with sticks and without sticks are both available.

The ice hall’s cooling system means that it is not dependent on weather conditions. The season opens in September and lasts until the end of March.
