The sports field is located in the municipal centre of Salla. You will find the parking lot when you turn onto Kansantie, opposite of the S-market, and continue straight ahead for 200 m.
At the sports field, it is possible to run, practise long jump and high jump, throw shotput, and play football.
You can receive a key for the storage shed at the sports field from the caretaker of the sports facilities or the library staff. In the storage shed, you can find equipment for clearing the long jump imprints between jumps, among other things. If you don’t need access to the storage shed, you can go to the sports field anytime.
The facilities at the sports field are maintained regularly.
You can reserve a regular time to use the sports field from the municipality’s sports and youth activities office. Times are readily available.
Shifts are divided as follows:
Mon 18:00–19:30 SaPS/juniors
Tue 18:00–19:30 Mimmisport (for women)
